Fayette County Arrest History

- Match the event through the Fayette court clerk to District Criminal/Traffic. Continue to Circuit Criminal if a felony was indicted. CourtNet access for the public is mainly through the clerk and courthouse terminals.

This custody view should be paired with the clerk's docket because a person can be released, a charge can change, and an entry can leave a current roster.
Lexington Police news releases announce selected events only. They are not a complete arrest log. Absence from a release or current inmate result proves nothing about an older arrest. For a past booking, submit a specific detention-record request and trace the related case through the Fayette clerk.
No Fayette Arrest Warrant Search
No verified public, name-searchable active-warrant database exists for Fayette County. The eWarrants link on KSP's CJIS Launch Pad is a justice-agency login, not a public lookup. Do not rely on a similarly named private site or assume that a web search can clear a warrant.
For a misdemeanor, traffic, failure-to-appear, or early felony matter, call Fayette District Criminal/Traffic at 859-246-2228 and inspect the public case file or terminal. For an indicted felony event, call Circuit Criminal at 859-246-2224. Ask for the case number, issuing court, public bond entry, next event, and whether the warrant is shown as active, served, returned, recalled, or withdrawn. Similar names are not enough.
Lexington Police at 859-258-3600 can address safety and procedure, but officers should not be asked to guarantee clearance from a website result. Sealed, unserved, juvenile, and active-investigation material may remain restricted. Follow the court's directed appearance or surrender process and keep the final order or receipt because a database update can lag.
Beyond Fayette County Detention
Local booking, state Corrections, and federal custody are different layers. Community Corrections covers local pretrial detention and local custody events. The Kentucky Online Offender Lookup serves people incarcerated or supervised by Kentucky DOC, including felony probation or parole fields. It should not be treated as a complete Fayette County arrest history. A person released from local custody may never appear there.
